The Face of Thugs

I put off writing about this, but I've thought about it all day. To me, this is absolutely unbelievable.

In response to the Democrats inviting 12 year-old Graeme Frost to address the nation in response to one of the President's recent Saturday radio addresses on the S-CHIP bill, a storm blew up amongst those in the thugatropolis of the 'Insane Right.'

Who the hell goes to someone's 'home and business' with the intent of harassing them all because they don't believe this party only earns a certain combined annual income, is living 'higher on the hog' than claimed, and by no means - goddamnit - do they need or qualify financially for any state help in caring for two children severerely injured in a car accident - even though one who is still severely brain injured? Who the fuck does THIS!?

Michelle Malkin. Why? Because as Maha helpfully points out....

And the point of all this? To “prove” that the Frosts are secret zillionaires who don’t deserve government help with their medical bills. In this, the loon brigade is, as usual, embarrassingly, completely, unquestionably, flat-on-their-faces wrong. I’ll give you one guess about whether that’s going to stop them.

Here, I'm thinking even 'skank' might be too kind a label for the likes of her.

She is downright nasty. Evil.... I always feel like I need to wash my hands 1000 times plus brush my teeth a few more times for good measure. She's hateful, downright hate-filled. Christ, I find it hard to believe she's actually someone's mother she's so incompassionate.

But by far, the most asinine remark comes from one of Malkin's compatriots, Mark Steyn, at National Review, one of the famous keyboardists:

The Democrats chose to outsource their airtime to a Seventh Grader. If a political party is desperate enough to send a boy to do a man's job, then the boy is fair game.

That's laying down the gauntlet, tough guy. But like Steyn points out in his piece even his 7 year-old is fair game. What fucked up people and what skewed values.

And as for the fucking wingnuts - have they examined the bill and are thus discussing the bill's "inadequacies." Oh of course not. True to predictable form they're attacking the messenger and as they have so nastily illustrated, all bets are off and everyone is fair game.
